Sally Maguire papers : Colorado Front Range Project and Perry Park, 1969-1983.

The collection includes many materials related to the Colorado Front Range Project, a multi-county project initiated by former Colorado Governor Richard Lamb to assess the impact of growth on the Denver urban corridor at the end of the twentieth century. Included is a summary of the proposals presented at the Colorado Front Range Conference, task force reports, reports for each of the counties involved in the project, as well as background information. Front range counties included in the project were Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Clear Creek, Denver, Douglas, El Paso, Gilpin, Jefferson, Larimer, Pueblo, Teller and Weld. Also contained in the collection is information from the late 1970s and early 1980s on the Perry Park community, e.g. community brochures, covenants, newspaper articles, plat maps and several issues of the Perry Park newsletter.

A Perry Park resident since the early 1970s, Sally Maguire has been involved with many area projects, including the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District and the Colorado Front Range Project. She was also involved in the formation of, and served as president of, the Perry Park Metropolitan District, a quasi-municipal organization formed when the developer of Perry Park failed to fulfill his promises for developing the community.
